Watch our on-demand webinar:
The power of combined SEM Raman imaging
Access essential information on molecular chemistry and structure with the new inLux™ SEM Raman interface for scanning electron microscopes. In this webinar, our scientists will demonstrate how the inLux interface simultaneously collects co-localised Raman spectra and SEM images to give precisely located chemical and structural analysis. Raman imaging provides complementary information to SEM microscopy, such as the chemical bonding in polymers or the identification of contaminants. Using correlated SEM and Raman image overlays, our Raman experts demonstrate how these results can be visualised to give a greater understanding of micro- and nanostructured materials.
Meet your experts:
Tim Smith, Raman Applications Manager
Tim has over 20 years' experience using a range of Raman research instruments. He has extensive knowledge and real-world use of systems in most application areas, however his particular expertise is within Raman imaging and pharmaceutical applications.
Pete Johnson, Optical Design Engineer
Pete joined the design team in 2021 after completing his PhD at the University of Southampton, where he developed super-resolution microscopy techniques. Recently he has been working on the design and development of Raman products, including the new inLux SEM Raman interface.
